Mariëtha Louw`s business kicked off in 2003. It started when her son received a few granadilla plants from his brother-in-law. Soon there was such an abundance of fruit that she started making cordials. When her daughter came home for a visit from London, she was so impressed with the cordials that she made the suggestion that her mother must sell it. A year later the kitchen was too small and she had to convert another building to a kitchen. Today she makes over forty different preserves some from products that’s grown on the farm. She is well known for her rare combinations of jams and chutneys. |
